What this notice covers

This Cookie Notice explains how Riley Ventures LLC, d/b/a Acme Studio (“being.cool,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on being.cool and related marketing pages that link here. The iOS app may use software development kits for analytics and crash reporting; those are described in the Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We may also use pixels, local storage, and similar tools. Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

What we use

We do not run a cookie-preference banner. Analytics load only when a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured on this site. We do not currently run Meta Pixel, session replay, or on-site advertising pixels.

  • Essential: the waitlist form and basic page function do not require a tracking cookie. We store what you type only when you submit.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4) when a measurement ID is configured on this site. Pages viewed, CTA clicks, scroll depth, referrer, device/browser, IP, and user agent. We request IP anonymization. Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Functionality: we may use local storage or similar so the site remembers a selected quality of being during your visit.
  • Advertising / social: not currently deployed on this marketing site. If we add them, we will update this notice and the Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may make some features less convenient.

To limit Google Analytics, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or your browser’s tracking protections.

To opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal information under U.S. state privacy laws, email legal@being.cool from the address on your waitlist or account. We do not sell personal information for money. Website analytics can count as “sharing” or targeted advertising when enabled.

Industry opt-outs: Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info). AppChoices covers some mobile advertising IDs.
