Who operates this
being.cool is a product of Acme Studio (https://acmestud.io), operated by Riley Ventures LLC. Legal name: Riley Ventures LLC, d/b/a Acme Studio. 1615 South Congress Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33445.
What being.cool is
being.cool is a self-development / wellness product. It helps people practice qualities they want more of — optimistic, confident, grateful, present, resilient, and others we may add — through small real-world actions, reflection, and an evidence loop.
What it is not
being.cool is not a medical device. It is not a mental-health treatment, therapy, counseling, or diagnostic product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, disorder, or condition — including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or any personality disorder as clinical terms.
- Not therapy or a substitute for licensed care
- Not a diagnostic or clinical assessment tool
- Not a disease-prevention or lifespan product
- Not a guarantee of confidence, optimism, personality change, or any outcome
How we talk about science
We may cite peer-reviewed research about personality change, optimism, and related constructs. That research did not study being.cool. Evidence that this specific product causes those effects does not exist yet. Association is not causation. The Science page is educational, not a clinical claim.
Starting Point and Being Check-in scores are internal product assessments. They are not validated clinical instruments unless we explicitly say a licensed instrument is in use.
Examples, previews, and “You, lately” stats on the marketing site are illustrations of how the product works — not testimonials that you will get the same numbers, and not evidence of a health outcome.
No guaranteed results
People differ. A practice may help some users notice or try a quality and may do nothing for others. We do not guarantee personality change, better mood, more success, or any health outcome. Use of being.cool is at your own discretion.
If you need care
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US). If you think you may have a clinical condition, talk to a licensed professional. being.cool is not a crisis service and does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice.
